Inspiring Words Coloring Book | Book Review

December 27, 2018 by Jamie 8 Comments

Two coloring books in one month? Say wha? Truth is, when I came across this one, I wanted to check it out because while this and my previous one reviewed are both coloring books, this has a different vibe to it and I thought it worth sharing!

Take time to relax, sit back, and meditate on God’s Word. Inside these pages, you’ll find thirty unique and creative illustrations focusing on key verses from the Bible, each offering an opportunity to connect with Scripture while exploring your creativity. Throughout, NIV verses are paired with detailed line art, and each page is printed on high-quality, thick paper stock that won’t bleed through. And when you’re finished coloring with markers, pens, watercolors, or colored pencils, the completed page can be removed, allowing you to display your work for even more daily inspiration.

The full title shows exactly what’s in the pages: Inspiring Words: 30 Verses from the Bible You Can Color. I like this because the focus is on specific verses and I’m thinking about that verse while coloring. With that, there’s designs, as well as quite bit of words to color. Lettering isn’t always my favorite to color, but then this gives me a chance to be creative in different ways.

Oh! Another aspect I really love is it gives you space to cut out a page. I love that!

Since this book is full of encouraging bible verses, what’s one of your favorite Bible verses?

(Thank you to Zondervan for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review)

I had not seen this. It looks wonderful and like something both I and my daughter would enjoy. Guess what I will be getting her for Valentines? Thank you for sharing. My favorite verse is John 3:16. It reminds me of what a great love God has for me.
